‘CONCOURS MONDIAL DE BRUXELLES’ Casa Valduga es oro en España

Duetto Cabernet Sauvignon & Merlot 2006 brings to Brazil the country’s only gold medal. The winery is also awarded with a silver medal for its Chardonnay Premium 2008.

The perfect blend of the two varieties, Duetto Cabernet Sauvignon & Merlot 2006 by Casa Valduga brings to Brazil the country’s only gold medal, obtained among 6,289 samples from 54 countries, during the 16th edition of Councours Mondial de Bruxelles, which was held in Valence, Spain.

A group of 250 specialized tasters took part in the event, who also awarded Casa Valduga Chardonnay Premium 2008 with a silver medal. “Our wines are more and more present in important national and international contests, and that is the outcome of continuous work, which unites high technology and care in the limited production of our products”, highlights Juciane Casagrande, director of the brand.

Duetto Cabernet Sauvignon & Merlot 2006 presents a high and balanced bouquet, aromas of red fruit and spices. In the mouth, this wine is mature, well-bodied, soft and goes well with seasoned cheese, spicy dishes, games, pheasant, lamb, fillets and grilled meat.

As for Chardonnay Premium 2008, it is a shiny yellow golden wine, surprising for fine aromas with hints of fresh tropical fruit. Full and balanced, with good body in the mouth and notable complexity. This wine goes well with pastas, cheeses, vegetables or fish sauces, anchovies, sardines, fish, smoked meats, carpaccio, fillets and paella.
